Terms of Service

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Thank you for using Parcelle Clips. We built it to turn your long videos into short, captioned clips you are proud to post. Because we do not know every customer personally, we put these Terms of Service in place to keep things clear for everyone.

When we say “Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”, we mean Granite Springs Enterprises LLC, which runs Parcelle Clips. When we say “Services”, we mean Parcelle Clips: the website at clips.parcelle.ai, the app behind it, and the emails it sends. When we say “you” or “your”, we mean the person or organization that owns an account.

We may update these Terms. When we make a significant change, we will refresh the date at the top of this page and tell account holders by email. When you use the Services, now or in the future, you are agreeing to the latest Terms. If we do not enforce a right or provision of the Terms at some point, that does not mean we are waiving it. These Terms contain a limitation of our liability.

If you break these Terms, we may close your account. That is a broad statement and it asks you to place a lot of trust in us. We do our best to deserve it by being open about how Parcelle Clips works and by answering every email sent to clips@parcelle.ai.

Account terms

  1. You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to do so.
  2. You may not use the Services for anything unlawful, or to make or share clips of material you do not have the right to use. See our Copyright policy.
  3. You are responsible for all content uploaded to your account and all activity that happens under it.
  4. You must be a human. Accounts registered by bots or other automated methods are not permitted.
  5. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services, or have your parent or guardian's permission and supervision.

Your footage and your clips

  1. Your footage and the clips we make from it are yours. We claim no ownership of anything you upload, of anything we fetch from a channel you connect, or of the clips, captions and titles we make for you.
  2. You give us a limited licence to store, copy and process your footage in order to make clips from it and to provide the Services to you. Making a clip means our software, and the providers listed in our Privacy policy, will process your footage: transcribing its words, choosing moments, framing the picture, and drawing captions and titles.
  3. Your edits help improve the product. When you fix a word, trim a clip or ask for a change, we keep a record of what you asked for and what changed. We use those records to make Parcelle Clips better at getting clips right the first time, for you and for other customers. We never publish your footage or your clips, and we never show them to another customer.
  4. Footage goes after 30 days without use; your clips stay. We keep a video's original footage for 30 days after you last open, edit or download any clip made from it. We email you 7 days before it is deleted. After that the footage is deleted and the clips stay: you can still watch, download and edit them within their spare footage. Uploading the same video again brings it back at no charge.
  5. You must have the right to use everything you upload. You are responsible for making sure your footage, and any clip you post, does not infringe anyone else's rights.
  6. We do not pre-screen content, but we may refuse or remove any content on the Services at our sole discretion.

Credits, payment, refunds and plan changes

  1. You pay for what Parcelle Clips does with credits. Each action costs a published number of credits, shown on our Pricing page and in the app before you start it. Typing word fixes and moving a clip's edges within its spare footage are free.
  2. Plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, and include a monthly allowance of credits and footage hours. Credits that come with a plan roll over for one month. Credits you buy as a top-up do not expire.
  3. If you change plans, the new price and allowance apply as shown on the billing page when you confirm the change.
  4. All fees are exclusive of taxes, levies and duties. Where required, we collect those taxes and pay them to the taxing authority. Otherwise you are responsible for them.
  5. Refunds of credits are automatic. If a clip or an edit fails, the credits it took come back to your balance without you asking. For refunds of money, see our Refund policy.

Cancellation and termination

  1. You are responsible for cancelling your plan, which you can do at any time from the billing page in the app. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
  2. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing clips@parcelle.ai. We confirm by email, and your account and everything in it, including your footage and clips, is permanently deleted within 30 days. We cannot recover it after that, so download anything you want to keep first.
  3. We may suspend or close your account and refuse any current or future use of the Services for any reason, at any time. Closing an account deletes your access to it and the content in it. We have this clause because, statistically, some account will be used for something it should not be, and this is how we stop it.
  4. Verbal, physical, written or other abuse, including threats, of anyone working on Parcelle Clips will result in your account being closed at once.

Changes to the Services and prices

  1. We may change or stop any part of the Services, for a while or for good, with or without notice. Sometimes a feature becomes technically impossible to keep, or we redesign something because we think it could be better.
  2. We may change our prices. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email.

Uptime, security and privacy

  1. Your use of the Services is at your own risk. We provide them “as is” and “as available”, without a service-level agreement, but we take keeping them running seriously.
  2. We may temporarily limit an account whose use far exceeds that of other customers, for instance through a daily limit. Where we can, we will tell you before we do.
  3. We protect your data with encryption in transit and with access limited to the systems that need it. When you use the Services you trust us with your data, and you agree that we may process it as described in our Privacy policy and for no other purpose. A person at Parcelle Clips looks at your footage or clips only to help with a support request you make, to fix an error that stopped a clip or an edit partway, to investigate abuse, or when the law requires it.
  4. We use other companies to host, store, transcribe, process payments and send email. They are listed in our Privacy policy.

Copyright and ownership of the Services

  1. Everything you post must comply with U.S. copyright law. Our Copyright policy says how to report an infringement.
  2. We or our licensors own all rights in the Services themselves, including the software, the design and the Parcelle Clips name. You get no ownership of the Services by using them. You may not copy, resell or exploit any part of the Services, or access to them, without our written permission.

Features and bugs

We design Parcelle Clips with care, from our own experience and from what customers tell us. Still, no service pleases everybody, and we make no promise that it will meet your particular needs. Clips are chosen and captioned largely by software, so check each clip before you post it. As with any software, Parcelle Clips has bugs. We work through the ones reported to us, security and privacy first, but we do not promise a service free of errors.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold Granite Springs Enterprises LLC harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, that a third party brings because you broke these Terms, misused the Services, or uploaded or shared footage or a clip you did not have the right to use.

Liability

You expressly understand and agree that the Company shall not be liable, in law or in equity, to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, lost profits, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use of or inability to use the Services; (ii) the cost of substitute goods or services; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the Services; or (v) any other matter relating to these Terms or the Services, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or any other theory of liability.

In other words: choosing Parcelle Clips is a bet on us. If the bet does not work out, that is on you, not us. We work hard to be a safe bet, and if you choose us, thank you.

Governing law and notices

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Formal and legal notices to us go by email to clips@parcelle.ai. We send notices to you at the email address on your account.

Any other question about these Terms is welcome at the same address.

These policies are adapted from Basecamp's open-source policies, available under the CC BY 4.0 licence. We changed them to fit Parcelle Clips and added our own clauses. See also our Terms, Privacy policy, Refund policy and Copyright policy.
