Notification of copyright infringement claims

Making original work is hard. As our Terms say, you cannot use Parcelle Clips to make or share clips that use other people's work beyond the bounds of fair use.

Are you a copyright owner? Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), you have the right to notify us (Granite Springs Enterprises LLC) if you believe a Parcelle Clips customer has infringed your work. To be effective, the notification must be written and must include:

A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Identification of the copyrighted work or works claimed to have been infringed. If there are several, a representative list will do.
A way for us to find the material you believe is infringing.
Your name and contact information so we can get back to you. Email is preferred, but a telephone number or mailing address works too.
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material in the way complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

DMCA counter-notification

On the flip side, if you believe your material was removed by mistake, you can file a written counter-notification. Please include:

A physical or electronic signature, yours or that of the person authorized to act on your behalf.
A description of the material that was removed.
A description of where the material appeared in Parcelle Clips before it was removed.
Your name and contact information so we can get back to you. Email is preferred, but a telephone number or mailing address works too.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Granite Springs Enterprises LLC may be found.
A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice, or that person's agent.

Repeat infringer policy

In appropriate circumstances, and at our sole discretion, we terminate the account of a customer who is a repeat infringer of others' copyrights.
